Hi Penguins! 

Yay, it’s B Meet time again. PLEASE DECLARE YOUR SWIMMER'S AVAILABILITY ON THE SITE BY 3:30PM TOMORROW (MON).  Here is the information you’ll need for Wednesday’s B Meet at Carderock (8200 Hamilton Spring Ct, Bethesda, 20817).  You should arrive at Carderock at 5:15pm for warmups to begin promptly at 5:25pm.  Volunteers should be on deck for a 5:30 PM check in.

and click on Week 3B - LF @ Carderock Springs and click on your child's name and edit and mark them as available or not.   You may use the notes section to tell the coaches your swimmer's preference for what strokes they would like to swim. 

WHERE:

Carderock Springs Swim & Tennis Club’s address is 8200 Hamilton Spring Ct, Bethesda, 20817.  The parking lot is available for our team. You may also use the basketball area for overflow parking, or along the street, if needed. There will be signs on Hamilton Spring Dr. directing cars to park on one side of the street only. Please be sure to obey those signs. Parking is not allowed around the circle leading up to the club.

WHO CAN SWIM:

It's a B meet so anyone on the swim team can swim (NO PRE-TEAM OR NESTLINGS though) and with a few exceptions outlined below.  Our friends at Carderock asked that if you swam a stroke at the A meet you CANNOT swim it at the B meet.  For all swimmers, they also asked that we try to limit to 2 strokes plus IM.  But, if you would really like to swim 3 strokes and an IM (and you did not swim it at the A meet) just let the coaches know tomorrow at practice or in the notes section when declaring availability and we can likely make that happen.   Also, Carderock said we cannot add any entries the night off so please make the deadline or your child will not be able to swim. 

HUNGRY?/FOOD INFO:  

There is no regular concession stand there anymore. So, make sure to bring a water bottle and snacks.  For dinner, Oro Pizza will be setup in the Carderock parking lot with a food truck. Oro offers delicious brick oven pizza by Carderock’s own Francesco Maria. Options include:

• Italian Peeled Tomato Puree / Fresh Grande Mozzarella Cheese / Fresh Basil Topped with Imported Grana Padano Cheese & Extra Virgin Olive Oil
• Pepperoni
